Now that you have managed to sneak into my webpage. Let me tell you about myself. Born on 15^th of August, I am Himanshu Dhar, Graduate Student in Computer Science & Automation Department of Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India. Well literal meaning of Himanshu in Hindi is "moon" and also, "part of snow".  Combination of these two yields the figurative meaning  which is " Cool Moonlight". And this is true to my nature also.  If you find time to meet me and our frequency matches, you will find my company soothing, just like the cool moonlight (not kidding, give it a try!). I was born and brought up on the paradise of this world, Kashmir, India. I spent my childhood days i.e up to 5^th class in my village Nunner, Ghanderbal of District Sirinagar. But destniy had some other thoughts. Pakistan sponsored terrorism led us to leave Kashmir in March 1990. My family and me spent three years in Bhaderwah and till date we have been putting up at Jammu.

Though my sun sign is Leo, they are not of much match to me, except that Leo are good actors like me. Being a Kashmiri Pandit, I am deeply religious and follow lunar calendar. According to it my moon sign is Sagittarius. I have positive traits of a typical Sagittarian. I wont talk of all the negative traits I have, except that I am a careless fellow (alas ! it includes everything). My birthdate being 15th August, I am a patriotic person like all of us and also because of the reason that I belong to Jammu & Kashmir, I got to know about the hard facts of the life in early age.

From my childhood days when i used to study in a school, the ground floor of which was meant for storing the cattle feed, to the most prestigeous institute of the country, it has been a long journey for me. From a stage when i had thought to be a farmer to to my present profession i cant help, but get amazed to realize what life has in store for us!
