The system takes in a question in English and returns "Answer Hints" (of 1-2 sentences) from the web. * Query Clustering for Optimization: IISc (August 2001-April 2002) Developed a novel approach for SQL query optimization using clustering and other pattern recognition techniques. * Word Sense Disambiguation System: IIT Bombay (2000-2001) A WSD system that tags words with a WordNet sense based on probabilty of collocation of neighbouring words. The system used Bayesian model for sense tagging. * Novel Business Model for E-Commerce: IISc (Jan 2002-April 2002) Developed and implemented a novel business model for E-Commerce Applications using Java Servlets. * Implementation of BIRCH for Character Recognition: IISc(August 2001-Dec 2001) Used the BIRCH clustering algorithm for character recognition and proposed the concept of hierarchical classification. * Time Table Generator: Gujarat University (1999) I developed a system that automatically generates a time table for a particular department at our college used constraint satisfaction techniques in AI. * Logic Based pH controller: (1999) Project done for the chemical engineering department at DDIT, Nadiad.
